Ice Cream Social Albuquerque Rose Garden (In case of inclement weather: The Albuquerque Garden Center) |
The Albuquerque Rose Society meets at 7:30 P.M. on the second Wednesday of each month from September through November and January through April at the Albuquerque Garden Center, 10120 Lomas NE.
Our goal in presenting programs is to help educate and inform Rose Growers of the many aspects of this type of gardening, and while so doing, to have fun and socialize with the lovers of our national flower, the ROSE.
Don't miss any of the events of the year. An exciting time awaits you. Some programs will have handouts to further clarify, reiterate and reinforce the points presented in the program. Suggestions for future programs are gladly received.
ANNUAL ROSE PRUNING DEMONSTRATIONS. Three weekends during March of each year at the Albuquerque Rose Garden. Rosarians from the Albuquerque Rose Society will demonstrate how, when and why roses should be pruned. The Rosarians will be available each weekend to discuss any and all aspects of growing roses. Admission is free and no tickets or appointments are necessary to attend. Equipment and supplies used by rose growers will be available at the rose garden, some at special prices.
To a GREAT ROSE Year!
